For our money from last stage, we've given GaoGaiGar some more EN, since the Dividing Driver shows just how much GaoGaiGar needs EN, and I'm sure that will only get worse once we get things like the Hammer. We've also upgraded Falsaber's survivability and mobility with our leftover cash.
Yes, I finally did some stuff with Pilot skills now. Instead of the standard PP and buying Pilot Skills stuff other SRW games do, instead you get these things called "Skill Parts" which you can use to give a pilot a certain pilot skill, or level up an existing one. But I assume you gotta be careful because some pilot skills you already have can probably level up naturally as the pilot levels up, or I would imagine. for right now, we have 1 Support Attack part, 1 Infight part, and 1 Gunfight part. First off, all of our current pilots (Youta, Guy, Koji, Sayaka) all have both Support Attack and Support Defend lv 1 naturally. so all the support attack part would do is level it up, so I kinda want to hold onto it (as skill parts are consumable and there's no going back after you use one.) Also, Gunfight isn't super useful for my units currently as it increased the effect of ranged attacks (attacks witht he targeting reticle next to their name.) Koji actually has a suprising amount of those on Mazinger, but I think Gunfight would help something like a Gundam more, and Setsuna fucked off and didn't join our roster yet, so I'm holding onto it. Now the Infight part.... Infight conversely increases the effectiveness of "melee attacks" (attacks witht he fist next to their name.) and since all 3 of GaoGaiGar's current weapons are those, giving Guy Infight is actually a great idea, so let's do that, it goes well with his natural skills like the unique "Brave" Lv1 and his "Potential" Lv 3 that should add up to be really nice.
Anyway, on to the next stage!
Our group returns to Japan from New York as Taiga welcomes everyone to 3G's Main Order Room, as Leo and the rest of the 3G staff explain to them about the battle against the Zonders, as well as Extra-Intelligence Designation 1, or Pasder, as well as about the G-Stone and the Mobile Unit.
Also Aishia and Leon of S.M.S. introduce themselves, and ask of our group and 3G's cooperation, as well as WSO into investigating something in space in Earth's orbit, a report of strange activity around a destroyed space colony.
Falsaber's interest is piqued when he learns the Mobile Unit possess advanced AI not too dissimilar from his own, and Taiga is more than happy for the group to be given a tour of the 3G base before going to space to aid S.M.S.
Yes, this is what I was freaking out on twitter about. The group is shown to the area of 3G's base where the Mobile Unit is being kept. Outside of Galeon, they're all seeming to be out of commission, their Super AI still rocovering from the battle with Pasder. Falsaber's a little dissappointed that he didn't get to meet these other sentient AIs, but the others assume them they'll be alright because they're brave heroes, and that Falsaber will definitely get to meet them. Guy even says during the short time he's fought alongside Falsaber, he's sure he'll get along great with the Mobile Unit.
Destroku's leader Barugias and his second in command Devotee discuss their plan to invade Earth. They are trying to find something they require from the ruins of various destroyed space colonies, that might help them against our heroes.
Leon and Aisha of SMS explain that a group of unknown units have been detected going through the runs of space colonies destroyed in the recent wars, seeming to be searching for something, and it's up to S.M.S. to look into it, and they've requested the help of the others. Leon and Aisha themselves have new Valkyrie models they will sortie for this mission.
Episode 4: Missing Existance
"So you came, Falsaber!"
"All units! Hold them off until our objective is secure!"
Guy: "Destroku is behind this, it seems. Everyone back up Youta and stop them!"
Aisha: "Roger!"
Falsaber: "Agreed! Destroku, I won't let you have whatever you're after!"
As expected, Destroku has shown up and are the ones rummaging the colony remains trying to steal something, and we've gotta stop them from taking whatever it is that they're after.
Aisha and Leon's Valkyries, currently in fighter mode.
Everyone moves up to take on Destroku.
Koji: Rocket Punch!
Guy: I'll show you what Courage means!
Guy: Broken Magnum!
Sayaka does the repair thing.
"Leon, I hope... that you'll fight with your best!"
Leon: "Of course I will. But, What do they even want?
Leon: "It doesn't matter, these Destroku are the enemy and I'll stop them here! That's my duty as a pilot!"
Yuki: If we can stop them here, now, it might just turn the tides in our favor
Youta: That's why I'll put my all into this, No matter what Destroku is after, I'm not going to let them get away with it!
Falsaber: We cannot allow them to gain any advantages. Now is the time to cut them off before they carry out their plans! Let's do it, Youta!
Falsaber: The power of justice, I'll show it to you!
Youta: "If we do it like this...!"
Youta: Saber Knuckle!
Youta: Punch through them!
Then it's Destroku's turn.
Guy: PROTECT WALL!
Guy: Useless!
Guy: Alright, let's go!
Guy: Broken Magnum!
"You dare stand against the might of Destroku!?"
Koji: Worthless! Is that all you have!?
Koji: Let's see how you deal with this!
Koji: Rust Hurricane!
"In the name of Barugias-sama...!"
"Now!"
Youta: With such an easily predicatable attack, avoiding it is no problem!
Falsaber: "Destroku! I won't let you have your way with this world!"
Falsaber: "Saber Knuckle! Ready!"
Youta: Saber Knuckle!
"Impossible, We can't be defeated like this...!?"
"In the name of Barugias-sama...!"
Youta: Here I come!
Youta: Pentakle Shot!
"Damn You!"
"The target is now secure. Retreat at once"
Koji: So this was all a distraction...
Leon: In other words we really screwed up?
Youta: Falsaber, they won, they got away...
A space fold occurs, as a large group of Vajra appear, along with Alto in his Valkyrie.
Alto doesn't know why the Vajra are attacking here, but he's going to work with us to stop them.
The battle against the Vajra begins.
Alto and Guy take the left group, the Mac 30 pilots and Falsaber take the right group, Koji and Sayaka need to catch up because Mazinger and Venus A doesn't know how to shot space, they'll catch up before we have to deal with the big battleship vajras.
Alto: I thought for sure we had dealt with this...! Why does this fight have to continue!?"
Alto: If the Vajra keep attacking I'll have to keep on fighting...! Because I'm a pilot!
Alto: "Sheryl, Ranka...! I'm sorry!"
Guy: If you're going to invade the planet like the Zonders, you're going to have to fight me first!
Guy: Broken Magnum!
Alto: Vajra...Why...!
Alto: I'll shoot you down!
(Support attack) Aisha: Move back, Alto! I will take down that Vajra!
Aisha: Whatever happens I better not miss!
Aisha: Even if the enemy is a Vajra I won't give up that easily!
Aisha: Charge!
Falsaber: For the sake of life, you will be stopped here!
Falsaber: The Burning of my Heart! This is it's power!
Falsaber: Burn! FalBlaze!
Leon: If the enemy is a Vajra then this is what I've trained for!
Leon: Take all of this!
Koji: Photonic Energy at maximum, Let's go!
Koji: Take this! Photonic Beam!
Guy: Your opponent will be me!
Guy: There's no other choice left!
Guy: HELL AND HEAVEN!
Guy: Gemu...Gi...Gan...Gou...Gufo...
With all the Vajra eliminated, it's time to finally wrap this mission up.
Our group's a little disheartened that Destroku managed to trick them and get away with whatever they were out to steal, but Falsaber and Youta are determined to stop them for sure the next time they show themselves before they can execute their plans. Alto is still concerned about the Vajra. If the Vajra truly have become riled up and hostile again, the Earth needs to be warned so they can prepare for them. And with everything else going on, and the current war raging, the Earth might not be ready for a new Vajra invasion...
