We didn't make much money in the last mission, but let's just use it to give GaoGaiGar a bit more HP and Armor. We also don't really have the pilot levels and such to really play around with pilot skills/stats too much right now, so let's move on.
The others alk a bit with Guy and learn more about 3G/The Gutsy Geoid Guard. Guy only trusting them with this secret because they fought against Destroku together, and considers them new friends and comrades, even if it's supposed to still be a close secret of the Earth's government.
After establishing a bond, Falsaber can now communicate with Youta from a distance.
As Youta, Yuki, Saji, and Yuu talk for a bit, Kabuto Koji and Nishkiori Tsubasa arrive, Koji still seeming to be upset at the death of his grandfather, Juuzo. (And yes, sadly that means we're getting Shin Mazinger plot now. Oh well, not every show in a SRW can be as good as GGG, or even watchable.)
Meanwhile, Dr. Hell discussies his plans with his minions, planning to of course, take over the world. Count Brocken volunteers to be the one to lead off the attack.
The others head to talk to Falsaber about what the next move should be to do something about Destroku, and even Falsaber himself admit he isn't sure. Especially since it appears Youta isn't quite able to use him to his full ability yet.
Youta, Yuki, Saji, and Yuu go for a walk as Youta considers what his role as Falsaber's pilot means, wondering if he can truly be a hero who uphold justice, even if justice is the only thing he truly understands. That gets interrupted when another explosion is heard. Guy rushes up to them to tell them all that the city is being attacked again. They wonder if it's Destroku again, as they head back to where Falsaber is, though Youta begins to doubt himself.
Episode 02: Determination! The Will to Conquer
Well, it turns out it's not Destroku. It's Count Brocken along with some Mechanical Beasts. Guy preforms Final Fusion and is the first to arrive in GaoGaiGar, but soon after the girl from Mazinkaiser SKL (another bad show, I don't remember her name) arrives in order to deliver Mazinger Z and Venus A for Koji and Sayaka. There's no sign of Youta and Falsaber yet, though... So we'll have to hold off until the can get here, as we're given control now!
Yeah..... bad units from a really bad show. At least Sayaka's Venus A has the repair ability, The important thing is Koji and Sayaka doesn't steal too much of Guy's XP, soooooo.....
Guy advances forward, while Koji and Sayaka hide in a building to the south. Bad guys are still out of range for now though.
The bad guys take their turn and just advance a bit.
On the player phase, Koji and Sayaka move around a bit, while Guy goes in range to attack.
Guy: Broken Magnum!
On their phase, the Bardos forces attack GaoGaiGar mercilessly.
Guy: Things like this... They can't defeat GaoGaiGar!
Guy of course, returns the favor, though he does get a little bit banged up in the process.
One actually goes down on the enemies turn to GaoGaiGar's counterattack, and then....
Count Brocken arrives in his personal ship, the Ghoul.
Brocken: Well done! As expected of the one who defeated my Groizer X10! (referring to Koji even though Guy's been doing all the work here. :) ) But how will you fare against this Ghoul, given to me by Dr. Hell? Face it, Dr. Hell's going to rule this world sooner or later!
Seemes like Youta's finally ready to join up with Falsaber and come help!
Youta arrives with Falsaber, ready to show Brocken and the Bardos forces what justice really is!
Brocken however sends out another wave of Bardos constructs to give our heroes more problems.
After a encouraging pep talk from Falsaber, and some friendly words from the others, it seems like Youta is finally ready to help fend off Brocken's forces!
GaoGaiGar got a lotta damage, but thankfully, Sayaka has Repair.
Yuki: Do your best! Youta! Falsaber!
Falsaber: Saber Knuckle!
Youta: Let's push on through!
The second wave advances and managing to do quite a bit of damage to Falsaber,
But now Koji has decided to give Guy and Falsaber a hand (even though brugrudgingly on my part, I don't want him getting experience over Guy or Youta, I hate Koji so much.... :( )
After a while the second wave is whittled down to a few left, but then!
Count Brocken charges into battle, setting his sighs on the King of Braves!
Guy: No way are you just going to take over the world that easily! As long as I am here to oppose you with the power of courage, you won't take control of this world!
Brocken: Foolish! The world will be better off! It will know peace when it's united under the banner of Dr. Hell!
Guy: PROTECT SHADE!
Guy: We...ARE HEROES THAT CAN'T LOSE!
Guy: In that case, I'll use!
Guy: HELL AND HEAVEN!
Guy: Gemu...Gi...Gan...Gou...Gufo....
Guy: HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
A good hit, but this battle's not over yet!
Brocken: Hahahahaha! If I can defeat Mazinger here, there will be no stopping us!
Koji: Save your gloating for when you beat me! Mazinger was entrusted to me by my grand dad! There's no way I'm going to lose to the likes of you!
Koji: I'm gonna settle it all with this!
Koji: BREAST FIRE!

Brocken: Kabuto Koji! This is the end of the line for you!
Koji: If that's your best, get out of here!
And now for Falsaber!
Falsaber: For the sake of justice I can't let you go any further! I'll put a stop to you right here!
Brocken: Go, Ghoul! That strange robot must be crushed! Or it's just going to stand in our way!
Youta: Trying to take over this world and harm the innocent, I can't forgive you!
Falsaber: Let's finish this! With this one attack!
Youta: U-understood!
Falsaber: HYAH! FALBLAZE!
Ouch, Falsaber's in trouble, but help is on the way!
(Support Attack) Guy: Now GaoGaiGar will, as well!
Guy: Your opponent will be me!
Guy: HELL AND HEAVEN!
Guy: Gemu...Gi...Gan...Gou...Gufo...
He's low, let's finish him with one more! Guy! GaoGaiGar! GRASP VICTORY!
Brocken: T-this can't be happening! Dr. Hell!
Words cannot begin to describe how cool the Hell and Heaven dynamic kill is. the pictures do NOT do it justice.
Baron Ashura mocks Count Brocken from the shadows, saying that Dr. Hell is not going to be happy to learn that he's failed. At which point Brocken retreats as do the few remaining Bardos forces.
A bit of post-battle banter from the heroes. Tsubasa says that the forces of Bardos are definitely going to be back and that we should be ready for a harder fight next time. Meanwhile, Guy and Falsaber compliment Youta on a job well done, and that with his strong sense of justice, he truly can be a hero.
At Bardos Island, Dr. Hell, and Baron Ashura tear into Brocken for failing, however, Viscount Pygman points out that the strength of Mazinger's new allies was unexpected and that they should be more careful in the future.
After the battle, everyone seem preoccupied of where Youta and Falsaber are going to go if they're going to help defend the Earth, Yuki suggests that he join 3G, as it seems like Guy would welcome the help. while the girl lead from Mazinkaizer SKL suggests that if he doesn't want to join 3G, he'd be welcome at WSO. Youta however doesn't want to be a part of an army or any government group, that he wants to do things his own way.
And we're back to the intermission screen! God, Koji and Sayaka got more kills than I wanted them to, hopefully when I get more GGG stuff and other good units I can easily get them the hell off my ace list. Guy's still top dog, thankfully. See you guys next time!
