We've spent our money upgrading GaoGaiGar's weapons again, as well as it's armor and HP, We also had enough to also upgrade Falsaber's weapons and give him a bit more EN to play around with.
Last time we got a few more Skill Parts, we got another Infight Part, as well as a Potential part, and we still have our Support Attack and Gunfight part. Even though it's tempting to give the Gunfight part to one of our new Valkyrie pilots like Alto or Leon or Aisha, I decided to continue saving it, same with the Support Attack one. I've used the Infight part to teach it to Youta because Saber Knuckle is a good bread and butter attack, and there's... certain other reasons I'm teach Youta infight now even though Falsaber has only the one melee attack. I've also used the Potential Part to level up Guy's Potential to Lv4
At Big Ring, The Federation Commander Frederick Algreus talks with other Fereration officials about steps being needed to prepare Earth for any kind of attack from Vagan and their new Jovian Lizard allies, One of them is furious and questions how the defensive line could have been breach with such ease. To which there is one answer: stealth technology. So some Federation Forces are being directed to one of the federation's colonies near Earth to be around just in case they come. However, their forces have been spread somewhat thin with all of the enemies attacking earth recently, so the Federation will need to call for aid.
And so that's the reason Taiga contacted our group about the emergency situation. The group traveling with SMS will now need to head to the Federation Colony near Earth's orbit in order to provide backup to the Federation should the Jovians and Vagans show up. So it looks like our heroes are getting roped into the war between the Federation and it's enemies, whether our heroes want to or not. Gai tries to convince Youta and the others to flee to 3G, but they'll have no part of that. even if that means actually fighting humans this time, Earth will be in big trouble if Big Ring falls.
Lord Fezarl Ezelcant, the leader of Vagan, while talking with his wife, contacts one of his commanders, Zanald Beihart, as he plans to lead the attack on the Federation colony. Ezelcant gives Zanald the go-ahead to utilize their new weapon against the federation as well, and he looks forward to hearing of his victory, Ezelcant makes a speech about how after the Earth abandoned them to their fate here on Second Moon all these years ago, the Vagan people have made great strides to reach today.
Episode 5: Bell of Beginnings
A groups of Vagan Mobile Suits, Dezzanines and Reganners, backed up with some Battas they recieved from their new Jovian allies, have launched the attack on the Federation colony, with only a small handful of Federation Mobile suits to try to ward off the attack (a small group of GN-XIV's) But our team arrives to offer assitance to the Federation forces. The Federation troops are happy to see GaoGaiGar, thinking things might just work out with 3G's assistance. Youta's a bit conflicted about getting involved in the war, because up until this point, they've been fighting aliens, ai-controlled machines, monsters, etc. And he's unsure about getting involved in war and potentially having to kill people. Falsaber advises him to do it for the sake of justice and protecting the Earth, as Guy and Koji aren't just going to sit back and let the Vagans destroy the Federation and take over.
Those Federation pilots in the GN-XIV's? They are, unfortunately, friendly NPCs. And they're gonna cause a big problem later. You'll see.
Leon and Aisha move over closer to the GN-XIV's in fighter mode, hoping to try and suport our NPC allies. (But what lot of good this ends up doing, as you'll see in a bit..)
Koji moves in to start engaging the Battas
Koji: Mazinger Z will take you on!
Guy moves in to fight as well.
Guy: Drill Knee!
And Sayaka moves in to finish the job Koji started.
Sayaka: Take a look at the capabilities of the Z-Series!
Sayaka: Z-Cutter!
Alto pushes through the hole opened by the others and goes right after one of the Vagan Dezzanines.
Alto: Damn it, if you're just going to spread war I've got to stop you!
Vagan Soldier: If that's all, then you have no right to stand in the way of Mars!
Youta and Falsaber back up Alto.
Youta: Pentakle Shot!
Vagan Soldier: Huh!? Ahhhh!
*sigh* this is what I was trying to say before. after I take my dumb, the allied NPC's actually head AWAY from my units and go attack of the the enemies at the north of the map, a good distance from my units. Some of them get banged up, but thankfully none get shot down.
After some defending/countering/etc on my part, it's my turn again.
Aisha and Leon go into Battroid mode and head to help out.
Alto throws on his Battroid mode too.
Alto: Target Lock! Let's go!
Vagan Soldier: "Tch! You still won't surrender!?"
Guy and Youta set up to deal with this Reganner!
Guy: GaoGaiGar will deal with this one!

Vagan Soldier: Ergh, not good! I wasn't able to dodge in time!?
Vagan Soldier: Commencing Attack!

Guy: PROTECT SHADE!
(Support Attack) Youta: I'm going to support Guy against the enemy!
Youta: This will decide it! Going to finish you in one blow!
Falsaber: With this blazing power...

A couple more Vagans fall, but then disaster Strikes when the NPCs kill one more enemy and this happens...
The Vagan force seems to be in retreat after one of the Federation Friendlies downs one more, but as everyone's beginning to relax, a huge energy reaction is detected as a large weapon, some kind of energy cannon appears! It was apparently kept hidden by some type of Vagan stealth tech. Zanald Beihart, a Vegan commander appears along with reinforcements and is planning on using this weapon to obliterate Big Ring. As it's used to completely wipe out the Federation forces. Zanald is convinced this is just what he needs to earn Ezelcant's favor. Soon after, Zanald sorties in his Xamdrag, and is prepared to finish off our heroes so he can hurry up and finish off Big Ring once it's defenseless.
And this event could have happened at a worse time, witht he NPC's gone, it goes right to the enemy phase, with Falsaber caught out of Position.
Due to Zanald's Electromagnetic Armor on his Zamdrag, FalBlaze does only minimal damage on the counter.
What follows is a LOT of grunt cleanup and having to weather Zanald's attacks, so I'm gonna abridge some shit, after a while of clearing out grunts, our group forms up to take the fight to Zanald.
Koji: Even if the Vagan and the Federation is at war I won't let you harm innocent people. Not until you defeat me that is!
Zanald: You talk big but how about you show me then! I, Zanald Beihart, will be your opponent!
Koji: Amazing! Amazing Energy!
Zanald: In the name of Second Moon, I, Zanald, will defeat you right here!
Zanald: Here I come, you bastard!
Zanald: TAKE ALL OF IT!
Zanald: DISAPPEAR!
Youta: Flames in my mind....
Youta: Take this! FalBlaze!
Zanald: Damn...! But that's still not enough!
But then as Zanald starts taking some damage..
Zanald calls for reinforcements, as a group of Battas, Jovian ships, and a Tulip appear!
Things are not looking good at all, the battle with Zanald is not going well, and on top of everything else, more enemies just keep coming, our heroes seem to not be able to hold out for much longer...
"What! Huge energy surge headed our way!"
The Nadesico. The same Nergal Battleship and it's crew and Aevestalis Pilots that went missing after heading to fight the Vagans and Jovians on Mars, has returned here via a Boson Jump.
Zanald was there back then, and seeing the Nadesico again has really gotten him worked up.
Yurika: Gravity Blast, Full Power!
"Docking Engine, preperation complete"

Ruri: Captain, Whenever you're ready, We can fire and destroy all the targets
The Nadesico completely annihilates Zanald's reinforments and he's furious about it. Everyone is in awe at what the Nadesico's capable of. Even Leon says that it power even rivals that of a Macross Cannon. Also, Akito Tenkawa, along with Ryoko and her squad sortie in their Aevestalis to help out. Zanald figures that managing to sink the Nadesico would definitely be a wothy prize and would go even forther to earning Ezelcant's respect.
The Ndesico and Aevestalis are quite a far way away, and they don't really have enough will ATM to be super useful, so the rest of our forces continue to plug away at Zanald, until...
Zanald, realizing he's cornered decideds that he'll just charge the weapon and point it at the Nadesico now that he's already used it on Big Ring.
However, before it can charge, Yurika requests everyone get abord as the Nadesico heads to the wreckage of Big Ring and Evacuates the survivors. Absolutely livid at this, Zanald charges at the Nadesico but it Boson Jumps before he can stop them. Ezelcant tells him that he is to retreat for now, and they'll deal with this temporary setback when the time comes. Zanald promises he will get the Nadesico for sure the next time.
On the Nadesico's bridge, they recieve cmmunication from Taiga back in the Main Order Room, who thanks Yurika and her crew for bailing the others out of a really bad situation, as Yurika and the crew comments that things might have turned out a bit better should they had arrived sooner. Then the tone in the room shifts considerably as, well, Big Ring was still destroyed, some of the people were evacuated, butmany lives were ultimately still lost...
SPeaking of death, Akito is still taking the death of his friend, Gai Daijoji pretty hard. Yuki and Falsaber try to talk to him and help him better better, but when Akito mentions his departed friend, they think he's talking about Cyborg Guy/Gai, GaoGaiGar's Pilot. Akito of course means someone else, and it's all just a misunderstanding. After seeing what happened to Big Ring, Akito is upset about being involved in war when all he wants to do is cook, not fight any more.
Aisha asks the others on the Bridge more about how the Nadesico was time displaced before they arrived again, as others inform her about what flying into a Tulip as a desperate plan actually did, that it seperated the Nadesico from the current time by a period of 8 months in our time, which was one moments ago for the crew. The question is, though, "what now?" Yurika says the Nadesico is going to go to Kawasaki City because they're in desperate need of repairs, as the bridge crew reports that the Vagan are broadcasting something on all Earth frequencies.
Ezelcant makes his grand speech, that the Earth had left the Vagan people to die to the Mars Rays and refused to help them and abandoned them in space as they were forced to contruct their new home, Second Moon, and the Federation is to blame for this war, not Vagan. Fredrick Algreas says that with Big Ring destroyed, the Federation new base of operations will be here in Africa.
Aboard Ptolemy, Lockon points out that Vagan has had a very clear hand in the bloodshed, too,
Angelo and Full Frontal scoff at the Vagan message, sure that Vaga will not be a threat to Neo Zeon once they have Laplace's Box.
At the Asuno Household, Grandpa Genocide himself warns Kio to not to listen to a single word Ezelcant says, and that the Vagans can't be trusted and are the enemy and need to die and blah blah blah etc.
Meanwhile, on the bridge of the J-Ark hidded in a mountain in Japan near G-Island, Kaidou said "they" have finally arrived. Tomoro states that it was only a matter of time until they made their move. Kaidou asks J if he's thinking of the man that "resembles a lion", J comments coldly that they're both warriors, and both have their roles that must play out in the battle ahead.
